Day 1 Detox : Easy Peasy Lemon Squeezy

Soooo Day one Detox – here goes!!! I’m following the Jason Vales  BIG JUICE SPRING CLEAN! Apparently there are over 25,000 people signed up to take part in it… it runs this week for 5 days (8th-12th April) or next week for 5 days (15th – 19th).  All these recipes on this detox can be found by clicking on the name or image and also they are all Jason Vales recipes. 🙂 ENJOY!

Rules of the game – follow the juices and recipes, exercise twice in the day 30mins in the morning and 30mins in the evening going as hard as you can! 🙂 You can also use a Hunger SOS Card – which entitles you to either 1 banana OR 1 avocado each day is NEEDED….

Wake up…..

Warm water with lemon…. – ugh..well its ok… its do-able! I think I will have it cold tomorrow!

Morning Exercise:

30mins HIIT on my Crosstrainer – CHECK – Afterburn yay Check!!

Weights – 20mins mixed shoulder and arm sets

Crunches – 100

9.55am – Ginger Shot – What a tastebud Wakeup!!


10am – Turbo with a kick Yummm!!! Love the ginger in this too!!


1pm and 4pm – Natural Energizer This one – I didn’t have the sugar snap peas for (couldnt find them – but was so so!)


7pm – Turbo with a kick (same as 10am Drink)

Evening Exercise:
30mins HIIT on my Crosstrainer – CHECK – Afterburn yay Check!!

Hunger SOS Card: Not used today 🙂


How Do I Feel?
Well to be honest – fine!! Not even peckish I have been pretty busy though and I made my daughters meals all day too so I’m glad I didnt feel hungry lol!! 🙂 Loving it soo far! 🙂

  1. Woohoo!! Sounds alright I reakon… If I had a blender or the alike at work I think I could do this…maybe! Gotten the scales out? It’s going to be interesting!!

  2. Ok just to confirm (and it probably sounds silly) but does this detox mean you “only” have the juices apart from the “hunger SOS cards” if you are still feeling hungry? 🙂

  3. sure does hun – and no question is silly! so you have your allocated juices in the time slots and then if you are hungry you have only 1 banana or 1 avocado… and only 1 item per day – you can however have any herbal teas or black tea too! 🙂 just no sugar! 🙂 hope that helps!

  4. Loving the juice detox! Just wondering, I usually take a protein shake after my weights workouts, would you eliminate this (protein shake) if your doing the detox? Even if still working out?? 🙂

    • hey hun! I would say no, because your body will be a fat burning machine whilst your doing this and your detoxifying everything so you dont want to interrupt that process! 🙂 I have heard of people who have run marathons whilst doing this xxx
